Our Amoré Family

Amoré Beach Weddings was founded by Jamie Bates on the Christian principle of "in the service of others" with the mission to provide high-quality beach wedding services at an affordable price.   

Prior to forming Amoré , Jamie worked in the legal and real estate fields for over 25 years.

Jamie is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Denver College of Law. 

Deb DePew brings many years of photography experience to Amoré  Beach Weddings.   She has a passion for capturing every moment of each of our Amoré Beach Wedding days.   

Ms. Deb, a native of Louisiana, spent many years in Memphis, Tennessee working as a photographer and where she and her husband raised their children prior to relocating to Sandestin, Florida.  

Terry GoLightly serves Amoré in our Wedding Planning and Coordinator department.   She is an experienced event planner having worked in corporate events in the oil and gas industry prior to joining our beach wedding family.  

Terry is very organized and leaves no details to chance.   

Rev. DePew leads our ministerial team and conducts many beach weddings each year.   "Rev. Steve" is also an expert at "Tying the Knot".  

Prior to joining Amoré  Beach Weddings, Steve worked as an international airline pilot.  

Rev. DePew, a native of Ohio, also served in the United States Air Force (Retired) and graduated from the University of Miami (Ohio).  

Hayden Lowrey manages the social media presence for Amoré Beach Weddings in addition to working with Ms. Deb DePew with our photography.   

Hayden also attends college at Florida State University.  In addition, she is a member of the FSU Garnet Girls Competitive Cheer Team.   She is a native of Destin, Florida and intends to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy.
